On the 16th, Aloha Factory announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Kyungil Game Academy to foster global game development talent.
The Kyungil Game Academy provides practical job training with a focus on job competency. Through this collaboration, they plan to prepare the entire process from project production to marketing testing and monetization.
Aloha Factory's hyper-casual game "Kiss in Public," which was released in August, recorded 5 million downloads worldwide and achieved the top spot on the U.S. Google Play Arcade game chart and third place in the overall game chart.
Choi Young-jin, Aloha Factory's business PM, said, "Through this collaboration, we hope to discover the potential to develop competitive games in the global market in Korea and significantly lower the entry barriers to game development experience through the hyper-casual genre." He added, "We also want to expand the Aloha membership to provide more opportunities for individual developers and early-stage development companies to launch globally."
